  • Wealth, poverty and fairness
  • Torture and cruelty
  • Ecology and consumption
  • Rebellion and passivity
  • Empire and post-empire
  • Crime and sin
  • Modernism and international law
  • Utopia and dystopia.
Assessment:
  • Research paper 10,000 words (100%) (18 June) (topic approved by the subject coordinator)
