Subject Overview: | An in-depth study of aspects of modern language teaching and learning with a particular emphasis on the challenges of the languages students will teach. Teacher candidates will develop personal projects to analyse the linguistic and cultural particularities of their target languages and the societies where they are used and locate them in the dimensions of the wider curriculum. They will learn to design teaching processes and create resources to assist the learning of their units across the secondary years, including work for background speakers where this is applicable. |
