This subject will provide students with the theoretical knowledge and practical 'know-how' that will enable them to undertake an advanced management research project (325-408 Management Research Essay). Subject matter will include: the nature of the management research process; an introduction to the epistemology of management research; how to produce a literature review; how to design a research project; and, how to undertake quantitative and qualitative management research. |

This subject will be taught in intensive mode: two or three full days of seminars in the week before semester one begins, one three-hour seminar each week for the next five weeks of semester, and possibly another full day seminar in the fourth week of semester.
