Mr Rudra-Pratap PatnaikuniSubject Overview: | Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, when successfully implemented, link financial manufacturing, human resources, distribution and order management systems into a tightly integrated single system with shared data and visibility across the business. However, ERP systems are expensive, complex and notoriously difficult to implement. This subject will provide students with the tools, techniques and the key issues surrounding successful implementation of ERP systems. This will be done through a combination of seminars, group project work and case studies. |

Assessment: | A 2-hour end-of-semester examination (60%), one group assignment and presentation totalling not more than 5000 words (35%) and class participation (5%). |
