Time Commitment: Contact Hours: Regular meetings with the supervisor over two consecutive semesters of enrolment

Subject Overview: Research on a selected topic to be approved by the Head of the German section, in consultation with the thesis supervisor.
Objectives:
  • have understood and applied the relevant research methods in their chosen field of Germanic studies;
  • have achieved the level of linguistic and methodical competency required for postgraduate studies in German;
  • have demonstrated their ability to do guided research at Honours level.#
Assessment: A thesis of 10 000 words written in German or 12 000 words in English 100% (due in the second semester of enrolment).
