Subject Overview: | This subject builds on skills acquired in Swedish Language and Culture 1A and 1B. It comprises reading, writing, vocabulary and grammatical structure, as well as listening and speaking making use of a variety of texts, activities and communicative situations. Thereby, students will gain an increased understanding of Swedish in an extended variety of contexts. Students will expand their vocabulary to a moderate level of complexity in different modes of expression. |

Assessment: | Aural, oral and written assessment totalling 1,000 words 25% (during semester); a 1-hour mid-semester test 25% (during semester) and a 2-hour written examination 50% (in the examination period). |

It is only available at level two for students who completed subject requirements for the beginners stream of Swedish at level one. Previously available as Intermediate Swedish A. Students who have completed Intermediate Swedish A are not eligible to enrol in this subject. This subject is also available on-line. Students who wish to complete this subject online need to contact the subject coordinator by email prior to commencement of semester. |
