Subject Overview: A research topic selected in consultation with the course coordinator.
Objectives:
Students who undertake this subject should:
  • Have gained increased capacity for independent inquiry;
  • Have an enhanced capacity for taking the initiative in self-directed research;

  • Have an increased capacity for theoretical reflection and argument;

  • Developed a capacity to undertake an extensive research project;

  • Have further developed their writing skills.

Assessment: A thesis of 12 000 words written over two consecutive semesters 100% (due at the end of the second semester of enrolment).
