A student may focus on either practical skills or academic study, or blend the two together. The programs draw together subjects from the Faculty's existing degree programs, and may be taken part-time or full-time. Subjects completed towards the Graduate Certificate in Music may later be credited towards the Graduate Diploma in Music, which may be used as a prerequisite to masters and doctoral degree programs in Music. The Graduate Diploma in Music is one year full-time (or longer part-time), and is offered on a fee-paying basis only. |

Objectives: | Students will gain a general understanding of the key concepts and issues in a music specialisation and develop appropriate technical and critical skills. |
Subject Options: | Students enrolled in the Composition Specialisation undertake the following course structure: Subject Study Period Commencement: Credit Points: Plus 62.5 points of Academic and Applied electives. Total points for the course = 100 |
