Subject Overview: Students undertaking this subject will have reached an appropriate skill level to be highly self directed and motivated in their studies. Students will be asked to undertake the role of producer for at least one student production and to act in a leadership capacity throughout that production and post production. Masters students will work under the supervision of a nominated academic supervisor. As part of their industry research, students will also be required to undertake at least one industry placement at an appropriate level.
Assessment: Advanced Producing Project(s) (5-25mins finished production)(equivalent to 12000 words)(70%); Strategic Marketing and Distribution Plan (2000 words) (15%); Producer placement of approximately 70 hours - research journal (15%)
