Subject Overview: |
Over the course of the year, students will develop their compositional working methods, style, language, and goals to a level appropriate to a fifth year of study. Students will also be introduced to advanced techniques and equipment, and will be able to work with large scale and extended musical structures. |

Assessment: |
There will be one major project, in the form of a composition folio of original works, covering areas of compositional philosophy and technique, including electronic and computer music, aural training and directed listening. Students will also be required to organise and present a 40-minute concert of their works. |
