Associate Professor Ian HolthamSubject Overview: | Students will engage in a program of practical study appropriate to the second year and working towards the end-of-year examination. Vocal and instrumental students will further develop their technique and repertoire and awareness of the stylistic and interpretative characteristics of the repertory studied with an individually designed program of repertoire. On completion of the subject, students should be able to:

Assessment: | A 25-minute end-of-year examination of an approved program of pieces from which the examiners will choose 20 minutes (100%). Programs must be submitted to the coordinator for approval not later than week 8 of the semester. Students must have attended all applicable concert classes and instrument or vocal classes in order to complete the subject. |
