Ms A JaworskiSubject Overview: | This subject covers the detailed topographical anatomy and histology of the eye, orbit, and visual pathways. Upon completion of this subject, students should:
- embryological development of the eye; and - neuroanatomy of the visual pathway. The initial lectures will provide an introduction to histology and will form the knowledge base for the subsequent lectures and practicals that focus on the eye, orbit and visual pathway. This knowledge will enable students to appreciate normal ocular anatomy and how structures are altered during disease. Students should also:
