Subject Overview:

This subject teaches and analyses practical approaches to the incorporation of e-learning strategies for teaching and learning in workplace and education settings. It identifies and evaluates theories, models, strategies and rationales for a range of e-learning practices including computer mediated learning, online collaboration, cooperative learning, flexible delivery and online learning management environments. It identifies evaluation processes for software applications and computer systems designed to develop and deliver teaching and learning in various settings. Participants will engage in the design, management, implementation and evaluation of an information technology teaching and learning environment in a particular context.

Assessment: Assignments totalling 4000 words or equivalent.
Prescribed Texts: Prescribed Texts:A collection of appropriate online and hard copy readings will be prepared for students.
