Subject Overview:

The objective of this subject is for students to broaden and deepen their knowledge of modern concepts and techniques in computer science. The subject consists of directed study in computer science covering material which is not otherwise available to the student. The details of the topics covered will depend on the course of directed study selected and may involve substantial system development.

Assessment: Written reports of approximately 6000 words and a 2-hour end-of-semester written examination. The details of assessment components depend on the specific topic of the subject and will be advised at the start of semester.
