Dr Ian BlandSubject Overview: | The objective of this subject is to provide the student, under supervision, to investigate a selected topic and gain further special knowledge in a discipline field of animal science, for example physiology, nutrition, behaviour, molecular biology. Available topics will be posted during Semester 2 of the preceding year. On completion of this subject students should have:

Assessment: | Written work totalling 5000 words (75% of final marks), one 30-minute seminar with 10 minutes open discussion followed by 10-minute closed oral examination (25% of final marks). |
