The course provides a review of the major animal production industries of Australia and includes a basic introduction to the following key issues in livestock production systems:

Assessment: | One three-hour examination (50%); a 3000 word assignment on the major field excrusion (30%); and a 2000 word report on an industry survey (20%). |

Breadth Options: | This subject is a level 2 or level 3 subject and is not available to new generation degree students as a breadth option in 2008. This subject or an equivalent will be available as breadth in the future.
