Dr Robert EdisSubject Overview: | This subject critically examines the management approaches used in a selection of integrated catchment management exercises and the outcomes achieved. The biophysical and social (community, legal and economic) aspects of each project are studied. This subject uses a combination of Australian and overseas case studies to provide a framework for the implementation of integrated catchment management. |

Assessment: | A group assignment (40% of final mark and equivalent to 3000 words per group) assessing the condition of, and issues in, catchment; and an individual assignment (60% of final mark, 300 words and a presentation) reviewing a particular issue in catchment management. |
