Course Overview:

This course is no longer offered. A new Master of Landscape Architecture has been introduced for 2008, so new students should refer to the Master of Landscape Architecture stream code A08-DA. Students who commenced the Master of Landscape Architecture pr ior to 2008 should consult with a Course Adviser for enrolment advice.

The Master of Landscape Architecture (by coursework) provides the skills on which to build a professional life. You will graduate with an excellent introduction to the profession of landscape architecture and an awareness of its potential.

The program's teaching in design and practice is underpinned by equal strengths in theory, research and technology, with a focus on environmental sustainability.

Wherever possible, design studios work in collaboration with industry partners on real world projects. Interdisciplinary studios, often run in collaboration with overseas universities, give you opportunities to explore landscape architecture in relation to architecture, urban planning, urban design and other areas. Our students particularly enjoy the chance to meet and debate ideas with students engaged in other fields of study
