Subject Overview:

This subject is a repertoire-based course which focuses on the classical canon from the Baroque era to the present day. Students will listen to and discuss one major work each week, discussing stylistic, structural and aesthetic aspects of each work.

Assessment:

Continuous - Preparation, participation and commitment (20%) - Hurdle requirement 80% attendance. Formal - An end of semester examination consisting of an identification test (40%) and a written, short-answer test (40%).
