Subject Overview:

In this subject students study cinematography, editing, sound design and art direction. This includes such aspects as framing and lighting the body and analysis of dance on screen artwork. Students develop their own concepts and explore methods of realisation. The student develops understanding of the roles of choreographer, video camera director and editor and a collaborative approach is fostered.

Assessment:

Short practical studies and problem solving exercises (60%); short written reports totalling no more than 2,000 words (40%). Hurdle requirement - 80% attendance.
