Structure & Available Subjects:

To complete a major in Australian Indigenous Studies, students must complete:

  • the compulsory first year level subject Aboriginalities, and any other first year Arts subject (25 points);
  • three second or third year level subjects from the specialist subject list (37.5 points);
  • three second or third year level subjects from either the specialist or the optional subject lists (37.5 points).

Please note:

Students who commenced study prior to or during 2006 must check the handbook from their first year of study to ensure that they meet the requirements for a major in this area.
