Subject Overview: In this subject, students will undertake the High Resolves Leadership training, and then help implement the High Resolves Initiative within on of the schools participation in the program. They will work with the school community in organising and running the program, and produce a report reflecting on the value of the program and making recommendations for future changes.
Objectives:

On completion of this subject, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate an increased understanding of what it means to be a global citizen;
  • Discuss in depth matters of collective identity, equity and justice in a global context;
  • Demonstrate an increased understanding of strategies for conflict resolution and collective action;
  • Run activities in schools that heighten global awareness.

Assessment: A report of 4000 words, due the the examination period (100%).
