Objectives:

Students who complete the postgraduate diploma will:

  • understand current practice and thinking about development;
  • comprehend the relations between development and environmental conditions, gender and urbanisation;
  • know and be able to use some of the techniques employed in development planning.
Structure & Available Subjects:

The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts in this area of specialisation requires:

  • Thesis subject (50 points)
  • 1 compulsory subject (12.5 points)
  • 2 core subjects (25 points)
  • 1 elective subject (12.5)
