Objectives:

Students who complete the postgraduate diploma should:

  • complete the equivalent of fourth year honours with a research component and obtain a recognised qualifaction;
  • obtain an adequate basis for pursuing advanced studies in Australian Indigenous studies at Master or PhD level;
  • develop a specialist understanding of a specific area of study;
  • develop a capacity for independent research in Australian Indigenous studies.
Structure & Available Subjects:

The Postgraduate Diploma in Arts in this area of specialisation requires:

  • Thesis subject 12,000 words (37.5 points)
  • MULT50001 Research Principles and Practices (12.5 points)
  • Four Australian Indigenous Studies subjects (50 points)

Total 100 points - subjects are 12.5 points each, unless indicated otherwise.
