|Course Overview:||The Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research (Biomedical Research Management) is aimed at people from medical and allied health professions (such as nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists etc) and others with a science-based background and qualifications seeking the opportunity to complete specialist formal training in a specific Clinical Research discipline.|

To satisfy the requirements of the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research (Biomedical Research Management), students are required to complete one subject, worth 25 points.

|Entry Requirements:||An undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in medicine, an allied health profession, science or social science which is recognised by the University as evidence of adequate preparation for the course plus documented evidence of at least two year's full-time relevant professional work experience or doctoral study in a medical, scientific or allied health environment.|

|Further Study:||On successful completion of the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Research (Biomedical Research Management) students will be eligible for 25 points credit towards the Graduate Diploma and Masters courses in Clinical Research. The proposals for these awards are currently under development with the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and health Sciences at the University of Melbourne.|
