Field trips within and outside Australia will be offered on an annual basis as elective subjects with all travel to be conducted outside normal instruction periods. This subject will be used as a framework for field trips of a substantial duration and distance, with a variety of pedagogical objectives. They will be led by different Faculty staff based on expertise and interest. Previous field trips have included urban and architectural design studios, history and conservation. Field trips will normally incur a cost in addition to fees. The trip will normally be combined with a seminar program at the University before the trip. This subject may be repeated for credit. By the completion of this subject students should be able to:
