Subject Overview: Defining what ‘quality’ means for the institution’s programs and work processes; and developing and supporting systematic approaches to QA that match institutional understandings of what is important, and also meet external demands to demonstrate the quality of the institution’s programs and processes.
Objectives: To enable participants to recognise the different considerations at play with internal and external QA and the challenges this presents for institutions and QA units and staff.

Assessment: Participation in class discussions; written 4000 word assignment
