Subject Overview: The use of computers for educational purposes with emphasis on current research and educational philosophies of learning and teaching; current and potential uses in key learning areas. Implications for education of technological change, resourcing and policy; consideration of relevant state and federal policies. Overview of educational software, evaluation issues and strategies. The role of the internet in education. The relationship between technology and individual learning styles, thinking strategies, problem solving and attitudes to learning.
