Subject Overview: Each student will undertake a research project under the direction of an academic staff member. All students are expected to spend at least 10 hours per week on their project during the year.

Assessment: 50%: Assessment by supervisor(s) of work during the semester including research skills, ability to work independently, initiative, interpersonal skills and professionalism; 50%: Thesis of not less than 10,000 and not exceeding 15,000 words, assessed by non-supervising academic staff members.
